Vendor-neutral, deliberately
Most local IT shops are one-brand shops — everything’s a Dell answer or everything’s an HPE answer. We carry several lines because the right answer depends on what you’re doing:
- Small office file share, 5–10 users: a small network storage box (Synology, QNAP) is usually the right answer. A full server is overkill.
- A handful of business apps, 25 users: a small Dell or HPE server usually wins.
- Heavy workloads with multiple servers sharing storage: a more serious setup with dedicated storage and the right virtualization platform.
- Hybrid setups: servers on-site paired with Azure or AWS for backup, disaster recovery, or specific workloads.

What “depth” looks like here
Most local shops do the easy parts of server work and sub the hard parts out. The hard parts are usually:
- Moving running systems between servers without taking them offline.
- Designing the storage piece — picking the right level of redundancy, the right way to connect it, the right way to keep it fast.
- Backup that actually meets your recovery needs — not just “we run a backup nightly,” but provably-tested restores within the time and data-loss limits your business can live with.
- Combining or splitting company networks when businesses merge, spin off, or restructure.
- Cleaning up legacy Windows network setups — old user accounts, expired permissions, the mess that builds up over a decade.
We do that work in-house. If you have internal IT and just want a project handled, that’s a normal engagement for us.
